The walk starts from the Evesham Tescos car park (WR11 4XF). We leave the car park and head out of town. After passing the last retail park building there is a path that leads to the right in front of a house. We follow the path as it leads along the wall of an industrial unit. At the end of the unit fence the path turns left and we follow it across the fields. After a couple of hundred yards the path turns to the right and we head up the hill. Halfway up the hill we pass a battlefield information sign describing the nearby well. We continue up the hill and at the top meet the main road (A4184). We cross this road and head along Blayneys Lane on the opposite side. We follow the lane down the hill. The lane turns right half way down the hill but we follow the battlefield path which continues straight down the hill. The path leads across the end of Oxstalls Road and along the side of the Evesham bypass, and we follow it all the way to the river. We then turn right to follow the river for a little over half a kilometer. The path enters some wetland and there is a raised pathway before getting to a stand of trees. At this point we turn right and cut up to a lane that runs parallel to the riverside path. We turn left and follow the path past a scrap metal yard and under the railway. At this point we turn right and follow a path that lead along the left side of the railway, up the hill to St Mary's Road. We follow that road to the High Street where we turn right back over the railway. Then a left turn leads us along Worcester Road and back the Tescos.
