Worcester Woods Country Park, Worcester
The walk starts from the Worcester Countryside Centre. From the end of the main buildings closest to the car park, we head right into the woods. From there we follow the main path, which is reasonably good under foot even when the weather is at its worst. The path skirts the edge of the wood - first heading west until we reach the end of the wood where the path turns right to head along the west side of the woods. The path turns towards the northeast as it follows the edge of the woods. At a stream we reach a junction with one path heading straight on, and the other 90 degrees left. We follow the left path up towards the hospital. The path loops around in front of the hospital and as we head back south, we meet the path that we would have come along if we had carried straight on at the previous junction. Soon after this meeting of paths we turn left again to follow the edge of the woods heading towards the hospital car park. Before reaching the car park the path turns right and we can then follow the path south back towards the starting point.
