The walk starts from the west end of the Holloway road. Towards the west end of the road, as you leave the housing estate there are a couple of laybys on the left with the start of a public footpath between them heading south. The start of the walk takes us along that footpath. The path takes us along the ridge of a hill where we get good views over Pershore town, and Bredon Hill. We pass across a couple of hills and then the path tightens between a fence and hedgerow and takes a small dogleg. The path reaches a bridal via a gate. We turn right here and follow the bridle path westward towards the woods. After about 100m the bridleway enters the woods via a gateway. We continue on the bridleway down a slope until we meet the main path though the woods. At this point we turn left and follow the path up the hill. We follow the path past the military shooting range on the left. In April, some of the best displays of bluebells can be seen from the edge of the range on the right side of this path. After about 600m the path reaches a junction where a couple of other paths lead out of the woods. At this point we turn around and retrace our steps back to the junction of the main path and the bridle path we followed earlier. At the junction instead of turning left back along the bridle path, we continue north on the main path through the woods. We follow this path until we reach the end of the woods. At this point the is a gate on the right and a path that leads eastward outside and along the north edge of the woods. We follow this path and it takes us up onto the path we initially follow along the top of the hill. Turning left, we follow the path back to our starting point
